Thanksgiving

So as the Holiday arrives i have some advice, PORTIONS PORTIONS PORTIONS! This is so important for us to realize, we need to not over eat! We all love being around family and when we are we tend snack all day long.  We tend to eat more than we ever need to.  We regret it afterwards so lets beat it before we even get started. This Holiday season i am bringing my own dessert to dinner Blueberry pie with stevia instead of sugar, and a yummy sugar free pumpkin pie! I will not punish myself and not eat, i will just choose better options even on this day! I am heading up to the parents tomorrow and will be trying to influence as much sugar free items at dinner so that i may be able to eat the whole meal! I have not been working out, lately i have been getting to bed so late that i can not bring myself to get up early and do so.  I will continue to try and start this habit and in Jan it is my new years goal. My school schedule will allow it much more next semester and i hope to get into the habit and commit myself to taking care of myself in every way.  So one good thing to do is PORTION control this week! we can do it together!

Not looking forward to tomorrow!

So tomorrow is the day, i have not been excited about this at all, but i know if i want my body back and to be truly healthy i have to get up early and workout! Since i have this blog i hope it will help me roll out of bed each morning, since i made this commitment to you and myself.  and i would not want to cheat either of us.  So after my yummy turkey and veggie dinner tonight, i will wake up and workout! i can do this!!! Lets just hope i am able to finish my homework a little earlier each night, which means my kids need to get into bed a little earlier ;) wish me luck!!! I think i might decorate for Christmas this week, a few weeks early but i am thinking i need the extra reminders of Christ in my life right now.  A lot of my friends have given into the desire and i think i will too!! Have a Happy Sunday!

Not yet done but looking good!

Day One and a lifetime to go!

So after receiving a lot of inspiration and great ideas from several of my friends i have finally committed to eating right and becoming fit.  After 4 kids my body is not what it once was, and this past January after my last was born things just didn't happen as they had after other pregnancies.  My body has been tortured by birth control drugs to protect me from becoming pregnant after i had my tubes sealed and the weight just stuck like glue.  My emotions and hormones are so messed up that i can tell my body isn't doing what it needs to be.  Luckily i have been off those drugs for three months now and in the next 9 they should be fully out of my system, yes 9 more months, its crazy how horrible those things are for you.  I wish i would have fought harder with my Doctor and refused to take anything.
Today has gone really well. I started a few things in the past few days but today was the first official day of getting serious.  SO here we go!.....
